What is HIFU?
HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is an aesthetic medicine technique aimed at eliminating localized fat and reducing flaccidity through thermal ablation. This treatment works by applying a high-frequency and high-energy ultrasound beam that, by means of a magnifying effect, acts on the deep layers of the skin without damaging the superficial layers.
The concentration of the ultrasound increases the temperature of the treated area to about 65-75 degrees. The increase in temperature causes the fat to begin to break down and then be eliminated naturally through the body. HIFU also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, making the skin tighter and more toned.

- Personas con enfermedades cutáneas que puedan alterar la cicatrización, herpes simple o queloides.
